ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED on wp-admin

  • I keep getting an ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED on wp-admin

    renamed the plugins and themes folder
    restored backup files and db

    no results

    – Please check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message and see why it’s failing. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.

    My hosting provider doesn’t provide server logs for shared hosting ??

    • Reinstalled wordpress on a clean database -> I can login.

      • Restored all plugins (excpet wordfence and w3cache -> I can login

    • Imported the WP tables oly from the old database (options, comment, post, user, etc.) -> again the ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED !!

    It’s driving me nuts/mad, but that doesn’t help.
