ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT for WordPress Update

  • I get this error on this site (and 1 other site, too) after using the recommended settings that you provide on your blog: https://zinoui.com/blog/http-headers-for-wordpress

    {DOMAIN} is blocked
    Requests to the server have been blocked by an extension.

    Try disabling your extensions.
    ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

    In addition to the recommended settings, I read your reply to another forum post that suggested including X-Requested-With to the the Access-Control-Allow-Headers; I tried that but generated the same error message.

    I deactivated HTTP Headers, updated 1 plugins & theme, and then activated your plugin again – and yet, was unable to update another plugin and got the same error message. (I experienced this same behavior on another site with different plugins.)

    What setting may be the cause?
