    Hi All,

I have a small delema. I would like to upload my logo.eps (because it has a transparent background). But wordpress does not allow .eps

    what alternative do I have.

I have other jpeg and gif versions but they all have a white back ground which really limits my options in terms of my theme.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The logo you have on your site appears to have a transparent background. Is that not the correct one?

Use a graphics editor app create a new gif or png image of the required dimensions with a transparent background from your eps. If you don’t have the software or knowledge of how to do this it should be a quick job for a pro to do this for you.

thanks for the reply. I kinda figured it out after posting this.
I converted it to png using Corel.
It looks rather cut and paste though.

It looks like your software just changed the white to transparent rather than applying alpha transparency which would give an antialiased smooth edge. This is possible to achieve in Fireworks & should hopefully be in your software as well if you can find the options you need to set.
