    Hello, there are two episodes of my podcast that are not showing on Spotify. She sent them a message and they have answered the following:

    “After taking a behind-the-scenes look, we can see that there is a bug in your RSS feed that is preventing your last episode from posting. As a warning, we noticed that the same bug is preventing your episode 21. SWOT Analysis from also triggering.

    It seems that the <pubDate> tags in your feed for the missing episodes are incorrectly formatted as: <pubDate> </pubDate>. For reference, a properly formatted <pubDate> tag should look like this: <pubDate> Thu, Dec 20, 2018 3:00:40 PM GMT </pubDate> or <pubDate> Thu, Dec 20, 2018 3:00:40 PM +0200 </ pubDate>.

    You should be able to make these updates in your feed wherever your podcast is hosted. If you have any problems, we recommend that you check with your podcast hosting partner about making changes to your feed.

    We also recommend checking out our spec document and making sure your RSS feed meets our guidelines.

    Once your feed has been updated, your missing episodes should be posted to the app in a few hours. ”

    How can I solve that?

    Hi there, in looking at your feed XML it does seem that for the missing Episode 25 that the <pubdate> field is empty. Was there anything different about how you created and published this episode? If you wouldn’t mind updating that post to see if it resolves it that may do the trick.

    Hello, the problem is solved.

    All I had to do was define the recording date for the podcast episode, which I had forgotten to mark when I published it.
