Episode Image Option Missing

    We updated to the latest powerpress plugin and now the episode image field seems to be missing when adding a podcast. I know you can add this to the ID3 tags but it was easier for our client to enter the URL of the episode image this way. I tried everything, looked everywhere and it’s not under advanced settings. Is there a way to get this back?

    In the podcast episode box in a post, there is a little Gear icon. You can click that and see if the episode image option is checked.

    I saw the artwork field but for some reason the images don’t seem to be showing in itunes, we only see the podcast artwork image.

    The episode images only work in some apps. Apple Podcasts (ironically) are not one of those places other than Episode Search.

    Hi Mike, thanks for your quick responses. I’m pretty sure the featured episode image does work with itunes because it was working before we updated from a really old version and it worked when we entered the itunes episode image url.Also, when we added the featured image to the actual file it displayed on the apple podcast app on the episode list. If the verify url option is throwing a 403 error on our site do you think that’s why it’s not adding the id3 tag or itunes episode image tag to our rss?

    In the podcast episode box after you verify is some tabs. One of them will have the episode image. If it doesn’t you can turn it on by hitting the gear icon in the podcast episode area.
