Ephemera Content Limit

  • Hi Zulf,

    Really appreciate you taking the time to address the forum. One more question, i noticed that the Ephemera widget pulls the whole content of the post if it is a video or image. Is there a way to limit the content so that it only pulls an extract?

    Hello Sam,

    Thank you for bringing that to my attention – Hadn’t tested with post formats containing anything more than just the basics.

    I’ll aim to an option in place to allow a selection of either full or excerpt content for the Ephemera widget too. This won’t be till sometime next week though but I’ll get the update out as soon as possible.

    Any update on this feature? Just hoping to change the excerpt length in the sidebars.

    Hello Sam,

    Not yet and sincere apologies for the delay.

    I can get the option to play nicely with the Video post format but the image post format is proving to be a bit tricky at the moment.

    For the time being I can only advise you to use the read more tag in the content via the editor.
