epaper wont work on ipad

sorry, there are no pics at all. What i imagine is, you′re using the shadowbox, right? Using iframes (lightbox, shadowbox etc..) on iOS devices it′s necessary, that indications of size are set to absolute values ( e.g. in the height and with attributes of a frame). So this behavior you′ve reported is a new bug inside the shadowbox code, cause we′re using percentage values atm.

The next update including a bugfix for this issue, is planed for the 2nd week of july 2k15. If you can′t wait, you′ve the option to fix it for your installation by yourself. More information′bout this topic you′ll find on stackoverflow.com.

Another option in the meantime might be to deactivate the shadowbox completely.

talking to our developers, there was an update in the middle of july, that fixed the reported behavior, that indications of size have to be set to absolute values on mobile safari(see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/5267996/how-to-properly-display-an-iframe-in-mobile-safari?lq=1).

In the meantime we have a new bug reported in early august, provoking the same problem. We′ve fixed that for our products in germany. But we don′t have a date, when we′ll/can provide the fix for WordPress. As soon i′ll get a date by our product owner, i′ll let you know.

In the meantime, i′m sorry but i′ve to recomnend, not to use the shadowbox for displaying a edelpaper on iOS devices :(.

How can i disable Shadowbox. I cannot find any setting for that, or must i change something in the wordpress core?

Well, finally the behavior had been changed due the last plugin update 3 weeks ago. If you′ll use the latest version of the plugin and you′re using the shadowbox option, on desktop devices the pageflip will be displayed inside the shadowbox, while on iOS and Android devices it will be opened in a new tab.
