I am trying to sort through some reCAPTCHA issues at checkout and I need to use the sandbox environment to do so. The problem is after I change and save it to the sandbox environment, when I reload it switches back to production. I found this out the hard way by having an order go through unexpectedly. I checked this on both of my sites and using different sandbox accounts.

    Hi @chopperstwisted

There aren’t any bugs in this plugin related to the saving of settings. That logic hasn’t changed since around 2017 and it uses the WooCommerce provided API.

I would recommend checking your site settings as it’s going to end up being a local issue, not a Braintree plugin issue.

    Kind Regards

I have tried this on 2 separate browsers with all plugins deactivated except for woocommerce and your plugin. I still get the same problem. I also deleted site settings except wordpress cookies and this momentarily worked until it was reloaded the 2nd time. I also reached out to my hosting provider and they could not find any server side issues and also believe it was plugin related.

    Hi @chopperstwisted

    1. The browser you test with isn’t going to matter
    2. This isn’t a Braintree plugin issue.

The Braintree plugin was last updated 4 weeks ago, it wouldn’t break all of a sudden. Plus, if this was a Braintree plugin issue we’d be getting bombarded with support requests.

I just tested and the settings saved correctly. You can perform a sanity test and download an older version of the Braintree plugin and check if the settings save not.

    Kind Regards
