Envira gallery breaks after enabling Aggregate JS-files in Autoptimize

    The Envira galleries on landing pages of my website breaks after I enable ‘Aggregate all linked JS-files to have them loaded non-render blocking’ function of Autoptimize plugin.

    I have disabled it for now.

    I want to enable it as it helps in faster loading and improving core web vitals score of Google.

    Here is an example URL which has Envira picture gallery

    Did you make any headway in fixing the issue?

    I apologize for the delay. Our development team did take a look at this, and there doesn’t appear to be anything within Envira Gallery Lite that we’re able to adjust. At this time, the only workaround we have to offer is to exclude the following script from Autoptimize:

    wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js

    Please let me know if this helps!

    The workaround suggested by you didn’t work.

    Please find a good fix for this issue.

    More recent versions of WordPress require the exclude to be wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.min.js, maybe give that a try. If it does not work, check the browser console for relevant JavaScript issues and we’ll where to take it from there ??
