When you click on any “Add block to page” when using Envato Elements blocks on any of my site pages it will say “inserting” but nothing happens. “Inserting” changes back to “Add block to page” and the Envato block screen just sits there. When you click/X off the Envato screen you find no block has been added. The page update button does not even turn green indicating something has been added or changed.

However, when you check “Saved Templates” and “Media Library” you do find the block you were trying to insert has been saved as a template and all the needed photos/clipart for the block have been added to the media library.

Can anyone help with this issue? Is anyone else seeing this?

Update! I used Envato Elements on my site prior to an Elementor/Pro update and I believe an Envato update and it worked fine. It was after these updates the problem has occurred. I took Elementor and Pro back to a prior version before the update and Envato still did not work. So I believe the issue may be with an Envato Elements update.

Update! The issue is with the Envato Elements 1.1.8 update. I deleted the 1.0.1 version but was able to retrieve it. I uninstalled the 1.1.8 version, reinstalled the 1.0.1 version and Envato Elements is working fine.

    I’ve confirmed the issue is

    Error: Commands: document/history/start-log not found

after Elementor changed that command in a recent version. I’m uploading a fix for the plugin now.

Please try version 1.1.9 of the Envato Elements plugin to see if this solves the issue.

    Thank you, @dtbaker

The 1.1.9 version seems to have solved the issue of the block transferring to the desired page but it is still being automatically saved as a template when this is not needed and was not the case with the prior 1.0.1 version. I will stay with version 1.0.1 for the time being.

    Regards,
    Julian
