Entries that are NOT approved are still appearing in directory listing

MySQL Version 5.1.68
WordPress Version 3.6
Gravity Forms Version 1.7.8WE are up and running EXCEPT when an entry is marked as unapproved (with an X) it still shows up in the directory.
Does anyone have a solution or anything I could try here?
