The new version is built to integrate with WooCommerce and a few other third party plugins. The WooCommerce integration will certainly allow you to add a checkbox to your checkout to add customers to mailing lists.

We’re aiming for the end of July to have the final free version rolled out with 2-3 extensions ready to go.

Late to the party…. but I came with a feature request.

Background
One of my lists has groups that contain one of several values. These groups are hidden from list members, but are used to subdivide by “membership level” for example and are managed by membership software.

Desired feature:
I would like to be able to specify a group, and value within it, from a form. Having the ability to use several forms (with different group values) for the same list would be ideal.

Possible?

Thanks so much for the kind words regarding the current release!

In regards to your inquiry, you will certanly be able to generate an unlimited number of forms for the same list. As long as the fields are not required you’ll have full control over what field is visible on what form.

You’ll have the ability to specify a default value for each of the fields in our new version.

The interest groups, merge variables and segments will all be fully controllable (create, edit and delete) from within your WordPress dashboard using our premium extension that we have planned for release at the end of this month (July).

Keep an eye out for updates and for some of our upcoming extensions to enhance the base free plugin.

So will it fully integrate with eCom 360 MailChimp offers? groups and interests thing, so if the customers buys a course I can select in that product settings to add him to list for that product or for general newsletter I select, to best match interests.

Example, if they buy zBrush 3d sculpting course, might only care to know of more courses for 3d sculpting techniques [in general] and zbrush software courses.

Will it also pull in MC info or is this kind of thing I see in another plugin making site DB / resources slower? Best to look in MC admin – or is it no issue to pull into WP all stats and data?

No, the list won’t populate based on the product that the user is buying, but instead will add a checkbox to the checkout page allowing customers to opt-in or out of being assigned to a mailing list before checking out on your site.

Right now it will integrate seamlessly with the ecommerce platforms Easy Digital Downloads and WooCommerce.

I will need to try and think of some way you can assign dynamic interest groups based on a product at checkout.

Yeah, would be useful to do that – multiple mailing lists, subscriber groups, leveraging merge tags, and web hooks.

Maybe i can get your plugin to work alongside WooComerce Followup Emails plugin?

that integrates with mandrill. so could manage this way to add them to product specific list if you can work with that plugin?
