Entire blog has disappeared after demanding reinstallation

do you have access to phpmyadmin in the back end (control panel) of your website, if might be worth checking if your old database exists so it can be recovered.

what asked for the title/username/password ? i don’t believe this is standard for WordPress, are you using a third party installer?

if you can’t access the phpmyadmin speak to the host about doing a recovery back a day or week from when you know the website was ok, we can then help get you sorted.

Hi, TCR – I literally pulled up that URL above, and it transferred me to https://www.rubenfeldsynergy.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php.

I really don’t know whether this is just a wordpress.com blog, or a www.remarpro.com thing, but I’m guessing it’s the former, as those managing the web stuff for this organization are none-too-tech-savvy. Isn’t there a way to make a simple wordpress.com blog and rename it using your own domain? Or does the fact that it has our domain name automatically mean that we’re hosting it there and using the www.remarpro.com software?

I don’t manage the site myself, but have a panicked email out to those who do.

yes this is www.remarpro.com on your own domain.

it looks like the files were there but some of the settings were missing so it tried to do a new install. hopefully your database is ok then. it’s worth checking that first and if it’s not got all your information in then ask for a backup to a good version.
