Enterprise Theme – Home Widget Area Problem

Hello, I am creating the website https://www.prestigepl.com/ using the Genesis theme with the enterprise child theme using WordPress 3.3.1.

Under the Widget settings whenever I add anything as the home widget section I get this blue box behind, which appears by default. Since this does not happen with middle widgets my assumption is there is some setting or code that needs to be adjusted.

I would like this home widget area to work like the middle and footer ones.
