I use Members to create custom roles in WP Multi-Site environments. For each sub-site like HR, for example, there is a role like HR Staff I created through Members. Another plugin sees that a user logging in is part of our HR security group in Windows Active Directory and then assigns that user to the HR Staff role. Members is integral to this process. P.S.
