Entering personal link

    Hello, I’m using the social icons using the in-site editor and have been able to place the email and LinkedIn icons, but I don’t have any way of including the link to my email or LinkedIn page. I found a tutorial that said if I click on the icon a link box should appear and put it there, but nothing happens when I click. Thanks.

    Hi @traceyc216,

    Are you using the Social Icons block (included with WordPress core), or the Social Sharing block (provided by this plugin). I believe the tutorial you found refers to the Social Icons block, which allows you to provide links to your social profiles and/or email address. So if you are looking to add person links, I would recommend using the Social Icons block.

    If you are using this plugin, the icons share the content on the page. So when a user clicks on them, it will prompt them to share the page on LinkedIn or send an email. Each icon has an autogenerated share link, and therefore there is no need for you to provide the link yourself.
