Enter Pinterest Rich Pin Opt Out into Genesis “Header and Footer Scripts”
-
Hi, I have a site running on the Genesis Framework. Genesis has a setting under Genesis>Theme Settings>Header and Footer Scripts>Header Scripts, where you can enter scripts to be placed in the header of every page. For example, I currently have my Google Analytics tracking code in there.
My question is, can I only put “scripts” in there, like something surrounding by <script></script>? Or can I put the following tag (which is used to Opt out of Pinterest pulling Rich Pin data from your page)?
<meta name=”pinterest-rich-pin” content=”false” />
Will that work properly, or will it try to interpret it as a “script” and cause issues?
Thanks for the help!
