Hi, I’m protecting partial content. The format I’m using is: [ppwp passwords=”p1 p2 p3″] then the protected content, and then [/ppwp].

My site is hosted on Siteground, and am using their caching: Nginx, Dynamic Cache, and Memcached.

    Thanks for your help!

Sometimes I can enter the password a ton of times, and it just doesn’t unlock the content. I’m using the lite version. Thanks.

    Hi @kjf127 ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

It looks like your page is cached somewhere.

    Could you help to:

    1. Add the following cookies to the Exclude Cache option in your hosting server’s account as the image below.

As you are using PPWP Free version, please use the code below:

    pda_protect_password
    wp-postpass-role_*
    ppw_cat-*

    2. Exclude password-protected page URLs as the example image below:

    3. Remember clear all the cache after you finish the step 1 and step 2.

Thanks for your reply. Siteground uses NGINX Direct Delivery as one of its caches, and I was unable to find a place to add the code you suggested; seems that the only options were “on” or “off”. I turned it off and the password protection is working properly. Thanks for your advice and pointing me in the right direction. Hve a nice weekend.

Hi, it’s no longer working. I type in the password and it doesn’t unprotect the content. It’s the right password because I don’t get a password error message. At Siteground hosting, I turned off all cache; in WordPress, I disabled the Siteground speed optimizer plug-in, and on my laptop, I cleared all local cache. Please advise. Thanks, Kevin

    Hi @kjf127,

Have you made any recent changes?

Would you mind creating a test password for the protected content and sharing it with us? This will allow us to examine it more closely. Once the issue is resolved, you can delete the test password.

    Awaiting your reply.

    Hi @kjf127 ,

Are you using the option “Unlock Protected Content without Page Refresh”?

If yes, could you help to disable it and check if it works please?
