Enter Key in HMTL Editor not working

  • Hi,

    Enter key in HTML editor does not create newline or line breaks. Is this really the behavior of Enter key in HTML editor?
    I’m not sure if this works in the previous versions of WordPress, I haven’t noticed before. I just observed that on HTML editor, when I press Enter, the word count gets updated.
    Is this related to themes?

    You’re supposed to use HTML to add a line break in the HTML editor – Are you sure you’re using the right editor?
