    Hello,

I would like to use paid memberships pro to control access to courses using the Learndash LMS. There is a special integration plugin written for Learndash and PMPro to help with that. I am therefore very motivated to use PMPro.

I would like the following functionality:

    (a) A member enrolls in course A requiring a particular level and expiring at time X.

    (b) The SAME member enrolls in course B requiring a DIFFERENT level and expiring at time Y BEFORE expiration of time X above.

The behavior I would expect is that the member would have access to BOTH levels and both courses.

Course B would then expire at time Y. The member would be excluded from Course B.

However, the member would still have access to Course A. That access would continue until Time X (at which time Course A would also expire).

It has been reported, however, by Learndash users that this behavior is not possible with Paid Memberships Pro because no member is allowed to be enrolled in more than one level and that any second membership would override the first membership.

Please let me know if that is correct or if there is a workaround solution. I thought that multi-level enrollments were going to be made possible.

    Thank you

    Andrew Lian

    Hi, Andrew,

This is true. We are working on supporting multiple membership levels (or course levels) per user and expect to have it out in Feb 2014.

In the meantime, we are able to help people set this up on a per site basis through our “do it for me” package. You can sign up for that on our site: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/pricing/

Wouldn’t the addon “PMPro Purchase Access to a Single Page” work for that?

    Hey there,

I’d just like to say that I am absolutely interested in this feature too. The site I am building offers multiple courses, and users will need to be able to enroll in more than one at a time (e.g. a single user will need to be able to occupy multiple membership levels).

I have been experimenting with different Membership plugins in interaction with Learndash to solve this issue – and it’s been a rather hair-pulling experience so I am very much looking forward to the update.

    Thank you! Go team!

    Has this issue been Solved?
“strangerstudios” mentioned it might have been ready for February.
    Thanks!

We’re working very hard on the multiple memberships feature and are currently on track to have it out this month.

    Hey Messica,

Would you be able to give us an update on the expected release of this feature? Thanks in advance!

    Anthony

Here (https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/2014/05/pmpro-v2-0/) , they were saying:

We are focused on delivery v2.0 in May (this month). Next week, I will push out the updated gateway code and new guidelines for how new gateways can be added to PMPro. Soon after, we will have an alpha release that supports multiple membership levels per user.

    But still nothing.

Any update on this? I’m dying to know if I can do this!

    Thanks!
