enormous no of posts on admin-ajax.php

    I’m getting an abnormally high number of posts (1 per 2 or 3 seconds) to POST admin-ajax.php (POST /wp/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php HTTP/1.1) when MailPoet is on. It’s blocking my server. When I disable the plugin everything is OK.
    What could it be?
