    You can install a “lightbox” plugin and turn on the image link setting in the plugin.

    Is it possible to use a lightbox with images that are displayed in a Participants Database table?

    Sure, I tried it with a plugin called “Lightbox plus ColorBox” and it worked fine;

    Many thanks. I have Lightbox Plus ColorBox installed – what option do I need to enable? I can’t add any attributes to the image in Participants Database as far as I know?

    You need to have the “image links to full size” setting checked. That’s all you need to do, the lightbox plugin does the rest.
