• 1. Show list of users that have RSVP’d along with their choices (yes/no/maybe) and their comment text.
    2. Show Google map on the event page and the lightbox popup
    3. On full calendar plugin, when hovering above a date, show a tooltip describing the event details

  • 1. On the /events page (front-end), by default, list the events by start date, ascending, so the user can see which ones are upcoming first.

    2. When creating the event via wp-admin, allow an end date / end time as well, but don’t make it required.

I also agree with the enhancements proposed above by jholcomb. A list of respondents would be most helpful, along with a google map on the wp-admin and the front-end.

@jholcomb Thanks for using RSVP Me and great recommendations. The first recommendation is built in already. You can see that info on the actual add/edit page in a metabox (perhaps a different location for this info may make more sense.. I’ll have to chew on it)

The other two are definitely on my radar, although I’m getting to a point of development with this (several hundreds of hours spanned over 3 years) whereas it’d be nice to find a way to monetize it a little! lol. Do you see those as pro version enhancements? and if so are they even worth paying for?

@micahblu I was actually referring to showing the list of users in the lightbox popup and on the event (non-admin) page.

Also, if a user is already logged in, the lightbox and event page should just show yes/no/maybe + comment and the RSVP’d users.

I couldn’t discern what was offered in the pro version. I am willing to pay $10 for a feature complete and supported version however.

@jholcomb, I can see it being very useful to have a toggle option per event on rather or not to show who has rsvp’d already.

I’m also thinking there could be an option whereas only logged in users can see the actual rsvp’s and are prompted to login to see the event and or do the same for attendance list which I believe is what you were describing.

Very good points, I’m going to take some time to think these features through thoroughly and decide which features I might implement in the free version and what might go pro

I really appreciate your feedback! I’ll keep you posted!
