I tried to use that shortcode in “Scroll Triggered Box” plugin that accepts html to be input as user scrolls. But the shortcode does not trigger. However, it works when used in a text widget. I don’t obviously need to use this shortcode in a text widget while there is already a subscription widget available. Where I want is the scroll triggered box, but the shortcode does not work there.

Did you ever find an answer to this aisajib? I have the same issue. want a pop-up subscribe box like the Scroll Triggered Box that integrates with the subscription in Jetpack. There is code in the scroll triggered box but not sure what needs to be changed to integrate the two.

No, I didn’t find an answer. The shortcode for Jetpack does not work on Scroll Triggered Box.

Nor with my pop up plugin too. ??

For the shortcode to work in those plugins, the plugin has to specifically allow shortocdes to run in the content it displays, by using the do_shortocde filter. For an example using the basic Text widget, see here:

You might want to ask the plugin authors about implementing that in their plugins.
