Enhancement request – Backup changed files

    Hi,

    I wish to ask of you to let users create a backup type that will enable us to choose file(s) (and maybe folder(s)) to be tracked by the plugin – and if the files has changed (say by hash value change, with a scan time cycle we will set) – then you will immediately back them up.

    Why? say we wish to know if sensitive files has changed – like error_log , .htaccess, wp-config.php and so on. This way we will be able to receive the change files to us, without the need to login to the site, and thus we will be able to examine what was changed.

    This kind of security feature and I saw this kind of feature already implemented on WordPress security plugins, something like WordFence, so maybe it out of the scope of BackWPUp – a backup plugin.
    But anyway, I will report this also to our developers to see what they think ^^
