Enhancement: Order pages as in WordPress

The WordPress Backend allows you to define a hierarchy for your pages – with parent-child relationships and ordering of peer elements via a number. I use this to make my pages appear in the backend in the same structure and order as in the menu (indeed, if you don’t define a menu, this ordering is used for the menu).

It would be really great if this ordering could be an option for the pages list. The inbuilt sitemap page type of the Weaver Xtreme Theme uses this order, so obviously it can be done. Otherwise simple sitemap lists my pages e.g. by date or title – which is not at all the order in which they are presented on the website and thus confusing for the visitor.
