Enhanced Ecommerce Tracking Issues
-
Hi,
after implementing EEC based on your instructions I face two issues:1) When I choose the option to include tax but exclude shipping fees in GA revenue, the tax amount of the shipping fees is added to the gross product price. E.g. Product net price: 20,00 EUR. Shipping fee net: 3,00 EUR. VAT 19% (for product item as well as shipping fee). So the correct revenue figure I would expect is 20,00 + 3,80 = 23,80 EUR. But transmitted to and reported in GA is 23,80 + 0,57 (VAT of shipping) = 24,37 EUR, what does not make sense.
2) Due to GDPR we use Borlabs Cookie as our consent tool. Based on their instructions (https://borlabs.io/kb/google-tag-manager/?_gl=1#ch_10) we added a consent variable in GTM and in the EEC trigger we added the condition “Google Analytics Consent | is equal to | true”. That works as expected for all “cick events” (product option selctions, add to cart, choose payment option, place order). But it does not work with checkout step 1 which is a pure page view. GTM Debugger looks fine. Data Layer looks fine but the event is not send to GA.
Thanks for your help.
