Enhanced Ecommerce tracking event fires multiple times

    Hi there,

    I am using your plugin in the latest version 1.16.1 and have installed it regarding the documentation. Unfortunately when starting an ecommerce event it is firing multiple times both at google tag manager preview and GA4 Live Environment

    For example when adding one product to cart. The event “add_to_cart” fires about 8 times. But it should fire just one time. Could you take a further look into this?

    it’s been solved. Made a completely reset of plugin settings and gtm. Now its fixed.

    Can you describe how you solved this (in a little more detail) – I have the same issue

    Hi @fuzing

    unfortunately I can’t describe you how I exactly solved the issue. I just created a completely new workspace within GTM, started from the beginning and reset the settings of “Google Tag Manager Plugin for WordPress”.

    Furthermore there was an additional add-to-cart event added within GA4 data stream – which I’ve deleted. But I am not sure if this was the reason for the issue.
