• Hi Thomas,

Could you help me with the following, please?

Question 1) In the setup instructions (link), we were asked on several occasions to set Event Action = {{Event}}. How does this work if we did not create an {{Event}} variable in the GTM interface?

Question 2: Also, wanted to enquire about the results I see here:(https://i.imgur.com/cZLee1M.png)
2a) Is there an easy way to see what the various steps (circled in red) correspond to? For example, does Step 1 = Add to Cart, Step 2 = Proceed to the Checkout page?
2b) The steps I see are 1, 2 and 4 (circled in red). What happened to Step 3?

Attached is a link to my site: https://rebrand.ly/gtm4wp

    Thanks,
    Jesse

    Hi,

    1) the {{Event}} variable is a built in variable usually turned on in many GTM containers. If you do not see this variable, just go to the Variables page in your GTM container and hit “Configure” in the “Build in variables” list. There you can easily select this and us in your tags and triggers.

    2) a)
    – Billing data
    – Shipping data
    – Shipping method
    – Payment method

    2) b)
In case the user is not entering a different shipping address, this step is omitted.
