Engrave light home page – featured image instead of slider

    Hi,

    I would like to replace the slider with a featured image.

    I am creating a child theme so would it be the best solution to edit header.php to add an image?

    Hi irG,

    When you say featured image, do you want the entire image to be clickable? You can set a single image using the ThinkUpSlider which will give you the same effect as a featured image.

    Let me know and I’ll be sure to help. If you do decide to edit header.php directly be sure to use a child theme. Otherwise any changes you make will be overwritten in a theme update.

    Thank you for your reply. No, I don’t need it to be clickable.

    I created a child theme already so I will modify it a little bit.
