• Hello everyone,

My question goes a little like this: I run WordPress on a Dreamhost server. Dreamhost offers “one-click” installations of WP, which basically automates the whole process.

Obviously, the version of WordPress which is installed is the English language version. I, on the other hand, would like to have one particular blog set-up in French, so that “Janvier” will appear instead of “January”.

The administrative panel doesn’t really bother me if it stays in English or in French. I can also handle translating the themes I use.

Does anyone know if a solution to this situation can be as simple as dropping the wp-includes directory of the French language installation into the already-installed wp-includes English directory? Or is there something I’m not quite grasping?

    Thanks a bunch!
