English text on french installation

    Hi,

    I installed this plugin on a french wordpress site. In wp-content/languages/plugins I see cookie-law-info-fr_FR.mo and .po

    The text of the plugins menu in WordPress Admin Dashboard is in french but the text of the plugin itself is in english in both the admin and website.

    Any clue what might cause that? I tried Delete settings and reset and Deleting / Reinstalling but its the same.

    Hi @mattb85,

    The strings for the cookie message bar and button should be manually translated. Since these are custom strings that users can customize, we cannot include them in the plugin translation file.

    Hope we are clear.
