    At a site running qTranslate X with qTranslate slugs the content is always loaded in English even though I have not checked the browser detection as an option. And every time I click on one of the flags I am sent to the same page in English. Also when I manually change the browser link this happens.
    NB I am using the latest version 3.4 and WordPress 4.2.2 and pre pad mode.
    NBB The site did run mQtranslate before

    Any ideas yet Gunu?

    I decided to post here as I am having the same problem.

    I checked your site Rhand and it is indeed defaulting to English.

    My website is in English and Spanish where the default language should be English, but it is defaulting to Spanish, regardless of clearing cookies, different computers, different browsers, different IP etc etc…
    My system and browser language is in English.

    I have read the FAQ, the ‘Browser re-direction based on language’ article, and various threads on google with people having the same issue but have not come to any clear conclusion on how to fix this rather important issue.

    My site is currently at “hodensack.joomlawired.com”

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    do you want to set the language switcher once again complete new. Make sure the existing is completely gone. Check the page source that qtranslate is really removed.

    @hellmet
    a fresh approach to your website gives default English here.

    Where can I find the language selector?

    Now that I am using qtranslate x’s language widget I can switch. There were issues with the mqtranslate language switcher. But I cannot get the ul list to display:inline; yet. Working on this.

    Fixed the layout too now. So seems to have been solved for me. Perhaps @hellmet can open a new thread?
