    I have tried a few workarounds, but nothing seems to be working.

    When I enter the information into the theme’s customization menu, everything looks perfect, but once I save and publish I end up with this strange formatting.

    Instead of :
    Educator, Advisor, Innovator (on english site)
    and
    Enseignant, Aviseur, Innovateur (on french site)
    I get
    {:en}Educator, Advisor, Innovator{:}
    {:fr}Enseignant, Aviseur, Innovateur{:}
    on both the English and French sites.

    Theme being used is Bluestreet (free version of Wallstreet)
    website is https://www.perryeducation.com

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Note : I have installed the WPGlobus Translation Options plugin, and have added theme_mods_bluestreet to the Options to translate table, but this did not fix the problem.

    Are you sure you are using correct option name ?

    Alex,

    I am not sure I am using the correct option name. I based my choice on another thread in this discussion with a similar problem. Do you have any suggestions on which option I should be using?

    The name was selected directly from the list in the WPGlobus Translation Options plugin settings.

    Are you using this theme

    I was, but I have unfortunately taken my site down temporarily due to a database error. After I reinstall I will try again and see if the error persists.

    Alex,

    I tried a fresh install of wordpress, WPGlobus, and my theme (bluestreet), and the problem persists. If you need access to the site to see the problem, please let me know and I can e-mail you credentials.

    I have found my error. I was missing an option for translation. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

    In case this helps someone else, with the bluestreet theme you need to add two translation options to the table.

    theme_mods_bluestreet and
    wallstreet_pro_options

    I hope this helps someone!
