Enforce admins but also let customers to use optional

    Hello,

    I want to push admins to use 2FA, which I did.

    I also want to enable 2FA for customers but as optional. Is it possible?

    Thank you very much for using our plugin.

    When you enforce 2FA on users with a specific role, those users HAVE TO configure and use 2FA.

    However, when you do not enforce 2FA, users can configure and use 2FA whenever they want and if they want (unless they are specifically excluded). They can configure 2FA from their user profile page, by clicking the button Configure 2FA. You can also configure a 2FA page (via the plugin) and show them an admin notice to configure 2FA and link to that page.

    Hi Robert,

    Thanks for fast reply.
    I signed up as regular customer but couldn’t find where to configure 2FA in my account page (my account> account details).

    I use latest version of wordpress and woocommerce. Also generatepress theme.

    By default the plugin adds the 2FA options to the default WordPress user profile pages. If you have third party plugins and their own customer areas, then you need to manually add that.

    There are two options how you can do this:

    Option 1: You can simply use the 2FA configuration shortcode to add the 2FA buttons to any page you want, including your customers’ My account page

    Option 2: You can also create a 2FA tab withing WooCommerce account page

    I wish you could make it as option. If there is woocommerce, related tab can be there automatically.
