Endless refresh loop

  • Hi, I installed and tested this plugin on my staging environment and as a signed in WordPress user, everything works as expected. On my live website, however, if a non-signed in user ‘accepts’ cookies, the website starts an endless refresh loop. Unchecking the ‘refresh page after accepting’ does not solve the issue. I suspect there may be a conflict with my caching plugin, WP Rocket, but can anyone help? Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks

    This is the first I hear about this.

    The plugin should hit admin-ajax.php file and come back with a response. Checking to refresh will only trigger a javascript reload for folks that want to account for that GA access count (Good for landing pages). With that unchecked, the bar should just fade away.

    Caching plugins can be an issue, but I’ve never heard of refresh loops caused by them.
