Endless loop (2)

  • the first ticket about this was was closed without any answer, so could give some information here to :
    Why should an admin cache plugin start such infinite loop process ? Is it related to the Max cache duration ? I did set it to 43200 minutes since I don’t see why using lower values would make more sense .. until maybe this topic I realised today in the console.

    Your explanation and best advice would be welcome here.

    Silence is golden, but essentially in dev spirits, probably less in support, don’t you think so ?

    I disabled the plugin on all websites for the reason I mentioned, which let explode the CPU usage on my hosting account.

    Now I am trying back some settings since this plugin is much appreciated in its potential. So, I tested it using 1 minute, then 2, then 10 to see if that “endless loop” was still happening. Hopefully the result was positive, repeating the loop only every delay I entered. I now set it on 60 minutes on this testing site.
    While my testing seems positive for now, can you (the author) tell if there is any amount limit (maybe was my 43200 minutes value not matching your criteria).
