Endless Buffering – Why Can No One Provide Solutions?

  • I’m new to WordPresss, but loving it so far! That said I’m having a problem playing my mp3s on my site. The first time I click play on ANY player or player plugin, I get infinite buffering. Only when I pause and play the song again does it play properly. Also, If I hit play once, leaving the site and later come back it will play properly on the first play hit. I’ve searched the forum and seen many problems like this with no replies. Does anyone have a solution, it seems like it’ll be a simple fix.

  • Could be a server issue. Looks like the file is taking too long to download. If you pause the play, the download may continue so that when you resume, you’re not seeing (hearing?) the lag effect. Similarly, if you leave the site and return, you may pick up the file from within your own cache.

    This is not a WordPress issue, it’s a web mp3 issue. Try a Google search for: streaming mp3
