Encryption of fields before saving

    i have a long form that gets personal data of patients, i want to know is there some plugin or some method that can be used to encrypt the data before submission to DB rather than plain text?

    I hope you are doing well today!

    While Forminator does not provide an in-built solution for data encryption, you can use server-level encryption for your MySQL database (this is the database system that WordPress uses). This isn’t something within WordPress itself, but can be set up at the hosting level. This feature may be specific to your host provider, so it would be best to reach out to them.

    Note: Always be careful when implementing such procedures. Backup the entire site before implementing such changes. Also, encryption might impact your web application performance, therefore, its implementation should be evaluated carefully.
