Encryption At Rest

Hi,
I’m just wondering if anyone could help me with a query around database encryption.
By default is a WordPress database encrypted at rest and if not, what would be the best way of ensuring it was.

No, it is not encrypted. Everything I read says InnoDB tables, encrypted at rest, should be transparently available to the applications. So, will it work? Probably. Maybe.
Google “mysql mariadb innodb encrypt at rest” to find out how to do this, but be sure to back up the entire database first, just in case it all blows up.
And, if you can, test on a staging, test, or development site.
