Encrypted password

    No. Passwords are no longer able to be sent in plaintext.

    Is there any solution to this? I’m having the same issue. Users are complaining that they’re being sent passwords (which appear to be the encrypted ones) instead of being sent a link to set their passwords. The issue is the passwords don’t actually work, so they can’t login. And if they use the password reset link on the site, they get another email with another password they can’t use. They can never actually login.

    Nevermind. I think I was able to get this sorted and have a reset link being sent instead.
