    Hi,

I would like to encrypt mails generated by Contact Form 7. The issue is that the receiving e-mail account for CF7 e-mails is not the same as the admin e-mail of WP. Is there a workaround for this?
I am happy to use PGP or S/MIME, in case that makes any difference, and I’m also happy to let go of encryption for my WP Admin E-Mail, if I can move it to the receiving CF7 E-Mail Account.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I did come around myself. Realized too late that this functionality is in-built via the ‘Profiles’, hence I created some additional wp-accounts and it’s working fine now. Thank you for this plugin!

Marc, would you mind providing any instructions on how you integrated this plugin with Contact Forms 7 or any other contact forms plugin? Does it also encrypt attachments?

    Hi,

Sure. One note ahead, I need to keep the PGP Signeying keys empty (in the settings), otherwise the mail just contains gibberish.

Basically you need to create a user with the same email as the email address to which you are sending the inputs of the contact form. The role doesn’t matter. Then you enter the PGP or S/MIME public key of the e-mail address in the profile of the user. For this you must log in to the user and go to Users–>Profile.

And that’s all! I don’t know if attachments work, I haven’t tried that. Ensure that the PGP Signing Key in settings is empty, and that you enter the Public key in the profile in the correct format.
    Good luck!
