With Paypal standard I was able to encourage account creation as part of the checkout process, but obviously since Paypal express bypasses the normal woocommerce checkout I’ve lost that functionality.

The rise in conversion is great, but I offer a loyalty scheme and many are missing out. Is there an easy way to add a log in or brief account creation form to the order confirmation page?

As long as you do not have the “Enable Guest Checkout” option enabled in the WooCommerce checkout settings then the plugin will require a sign-in/account creation from the review page after being returned from PayPal. It won’t let them complete the order without being signed in that case, and will let them create the account at that time if they need to.

    Of course!

That’s a little embarrassing, I should have remembered that.

No worries. There are too many settings to remember.
