• I have a Norwegian site, but the letters ?. ?. ? stopped showing.

Encoding for pages and feeds is set to UTF-7 and what ever I do I can’t change it.

I think “iso-8859-1” is right for Norwegian, but since I can’t change it I can’t get it to work.

Any idea what may be the problem? Please help me!

    Thanks!

My page can be found at: https://www.dillogdall.com

  • Usually in a browser clicking on the View menu > you can select Encoding or Character encoding… or something like that. And that’s the place where you can set it to “autoselect” or auto-detect…

OK, one more test: if YOU write a comment, will that keep the special characters? Do this BEFORE you change anything in your browser’s settings!

I wrote a comment and the letters did not show.

My browser (Mozilla Firefox) showed iso-8859-1 on my site.

I changed the pages encoding to UTF-8 and rewrote one of the post with (?, ? and ?) and now it works just fine. Do i really have to rewrite every post now ? :\
