Hi, I’m getting the following order on two of my feeds. They are set up for google shopping. They were working previously and have suddenly stopped.

    Hello @dcottreau,

We have released a new version of the Product Feed Pro plugin. Kindly update the plugin, and let us know whether this issue is fixed or not.

If the issue is not resolved after updating, kindly duplicate the feed, remove the description from the Field Mapping step, and save the field. Then refresh the feed and check if the issue is resolved or not.

Also, could you please any further error logs here? You can find errors from the WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Logs screen.

It would be better if you could share the feed link here for further review.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I’ve updated the plugin and removed the description but still see the error. I’m happy to provide the feed however I do not want to share that publicly and don’t see a way to create a private link.

I don’t see any logs specific to this plugin. Was there something you were looking for specifically?

    Thanks.

    Hi @dcottreau ,

If removing the description field is still showing errors, try removing the other fields. This issue is rare and be quite trial and error.

Also, some cases your server is storing old data. This error also happens when you have special characters in the description or title of the product.

Removing these special characters will fix things up.

Is there anyway to find out which product is it? There are 2000 items so it’s going to be hard to narrow down.

Is there a list of characters that are not acceptable?

    Hi @dcottreau ,

Most common are the special characters like < > & . Sometimes characters that’s specific to other languages apart from the english alphabet causes this issue.

What you can try is exporting another file like CSV,TXT etc. and open the file from there, look if you have special characters somewhere.

I’ve also raise this issue with our devs so we can properly handle special characters.
