Enbedding WP RSS into a website

  • I have set up a WordPress site, and want to embed the RSS feed into another website which is constructed using static XHTML. I have tried several tools to do this, including:

    RSSinclude – https://www.rss-info.com/en_rssinclude-simple.html
    RSSexpress – https://rssxpress.ukoln.ac.uk/lite/include/?t=1

    My feed is – https://news.wessexarch.co.uk/wp-rss2.php
    (although it’s not properly ‘live’ because we’ve only got a few test entries at the moment)

    I can see the feed correctly using Firefox’s Live Bookmarks, I can click it and view the XML, but it isn’t parsed by the above tools. RSSexpress claims the URL doesn’t exist, and RSSinclude displays nothing.

    Can anyone advise? Is anyone using a similar tool? I’m restricted to using an external script, or JavaScript as I can’t change the URI of the page destined to show the syndicated headlines…
