Enabling widgets depending on page length

    Hello,

    Firstly, many thanks for developing such an amazing plugin! – Donation coming when I have some more wedge!!

    A bit of an odd request, but I was wondering whether there would be any way to set a rule/display a widget dependant on the length of the post?

    I run a multi-author website and host some very long posts, and some very short posts. On the longer posts I have large amounts of unused sidebar space which I would like to populate with a couple of the larger Amazon widgets/ads to maximise revenue, I don’t however want to display these on shorter posts for obvious reasons.

    Is there currently a solution to my problem, if not, could I be cheeky enough to put in a feature request for upcoming versions? – The calculation could be based off the number of words/characters in the post body?

    It’s probably not an often requested feature, but I’m sure if the option was there MANY people would find a good use for it, if not only for the exact same purposes that I would use it for.

    Currently there is no way to do this in DW. I always can put this on the list. But to be honest I don’t see this hapening very quickly. Resson for this is also I won’t limit it to only single posts, but to all available post types within the WordPress system.

    We can always have a chat about DW features with commercial backing. When you’re interested, please send me an email.

    Thanks for getting back to me. It’s not a problem if it isn’t limited to only posts, it can work with all available post types.

    I’d be grateful if you could add it on the to-do list for future releases, unfortunately I do not have the funds at present to support customised features.
