    Hi there,

Hoping that someone can provide some insight here as I would really love to use reCAPTCHA v3.

Within Wordfence Settings > Login Security, when I had “reCAPTCHA on the login and user registration pages” enabled (with proper site key and secret in place), customers were experiencing login issues.

The issue: A user would go to the login page, enter their username and password, hit enter, and then the page would simply refresh (not logging them in, forcing them to try to log in again and again, only for it not to work).

I narrowed the issue down to Wordfence > reCAPTCHA v3, and have since disabled it temporarily, but am hoping someone has some insight as to why this occurs when it is enabled, because I would really love to have that added protection.

    Thank you,
    R

    Hi @royalsiren

Is the login page the default WordPress login URL below:

    example.com/wp-login.php

Or is it a custom login page URL?

To see what other plugins you have installed, I would like to have a look at your Wordfence diagnostics report. Please go to the top of the “Diagnostics” tab on the Wordfence “Tools” page. There will be a “SEND REPORT BY EMAIL” button to send the diagnostics report. Enter wftest [at] wordfence [dot] com as the email and royalsiren as the forum username please.

Once you have emailed me the diagnostics report can you reply here to let me know that it has been sent. This is important in the unlikely event that your installation of WordPress is having an issue with sending mail.

    Hi Phil,

First, let me say thank you for reaching out to help with this issue.

It is a custom login page URL.

Also, wanted to let you know that the diagnostics report has been sent.

    Thank you,
    R

I believe the issue was resolved – may have had something to do with the .htaccess files that my server support team addressed.
