Enabling maintainance mode – and taking a long time

    I’ve had that for 15 minute now – my browser is hung at loading. I’m really new to this and got it up and running on my own webhost yesterday. How long should I wait? What should I do if it does not complete? Should I download and ftp? Will it have messed up anything?

    ack – now my site says that I am down for maintainance and I can’t log in! Breathe deep. . . so how do I get back into my site? Right now when I try to go there it simply says I’m down for scheduled maintainance.
