Enabling and Disabling Individual Item Shipping

ome items in our store cannot be shipped (and therefore shouldn’t fall into default flat rates) — BUT we still want our customers to order online and pick up in our store

Hi @hegenberg thanks. So, there’s no built-in method for WooCommerce that simply allows users to enable or disable “this item can be shipped”?

Hopefully that’s not true, the top e-commerce platform on earth not having an option to segment shippable items would be bizarre, I appreciate your help so much!

If local pick up is not an option, you might want to set these products as Digital/Downloadable.

Otherwise, I encourage you to check for an extension for extra shipping settings. There are tens of free plugins and paid WooCommerce add-ons for additional delivery options.
